تعتبر تنمية المجتمع المحلي للصيادين ومناصرة قضاياهم إحدى أولويات مؤسسة بنيان التنموية وفي هذا الإطار التقى المدير التنفيذي في مكتبه بالوكيل المساعد لقطاع الإنتاج والتسويق بوزارة الثروة السمكية حيث جرى النقاش حول سبل تطوير العمل المجتمعي والمساندة الحكومية الممكنة لتنمية وتفعيل المجتمع المحلي للصيادين وإشراك غرفة الصيادين للطوارئ والتنمية في العملية التنموية
