A team from Bonyan Development Foundation visits the Marine scientific researches Institute and Marine Life
Studies and research on the development of society and the optimal use of economic resources are the priorities and objectives of the BDF especially this difficult period in which the citizen suffers from brutal siege aimed to starve the Yemeni citizen and control their sources of income and livelihood

Therefore, a team from the BDF visited the Marine Science and Marine Sciences Research Institute and they met with the Director General Fatima Shamsan, Members of the administrative body, researchers, the head of the fish union in Hodeidah, and the responsible of fishermen.

During the meeting, the Director General of the Commission reviewed a number of plans and studies prepared by the Commission to develop fishing and preserve the marine environment. It also presented a number of ideas for small enterprises that promote employment and improve income for the fishing community and West Coast residents. In addition, the Bonyan team has received a copy of these ideas for consideration and identification of appropriate intervention capabilities and proportionate to the goals and priorities of the BDF.
